I’ll have to say the ultimate shopping day was kind of disappointing. My mom got more stuff than I did, including a new toaster.

Its a nice looking appliance, its red and silver, just like all her friend’s toasters. It adds oomph to the island in our kitchen, and is quite sexy. =]

It’s even cooler because of the James Bondish way she got the toaster.

There she was, walking down the aisle, sale flier in hand, when my mom spots the sexy red toaster that was at a great price and quickly picks it up. Bum, bum bum…it was the last one! She grabbed the goods, and headed for the clothing department (where my sister and I were). As she made her way down, a couple people started following her (freaky!)…THEY WANTED THAT TOASTER! They were just hoping she would change her mind, put the treasure down so they could swoop in like a bunch of vultures and grab the toaster before it got lost on some random shelf, or even worse..thhe next shifty eyed shopper grabbed it! =]
